Cowboys teammates Dak Prescott and Trevon Diggs made headlines this week after their heated exchange at practice.

The two players got into a shouting match on Tuesday as Prescott attempted to scramble before Diggs and a few other players forced him to  step out of bounds.

The incident has been seen by some as a sign of trouble in the locker room, but Prescott says it's nothing to be worried about.

"That's a guy that I spend a lot of time with, we're always going back and forth," the Cowboys quarterback told Fox 4 in Dallas.

"When you're competing at a high level and you believe your side is better than the other side that's mutual and that's iron sharpening  iron."

Fans may remember that Prescott and Diggs have shown that they are pretty close with each other, dating back to their appearance on HBO's  Hard Knocks.

"Nobody gets upset about words being said," Prescott said about the exchange during practice.

The Cowboys are attempting to gear up for another run at what's proven to be an elusive Super Bowl title.

Dallas hasn't been to the big game in nearly 30 years, and some are wondering if the current roster is enough to get them there.

They've managed to make it further into the playoffs under Mike McCarthy in each successive season, so this could be the year they put it all together.
