Saints running back Alvin Kamara is scheduled to meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Wednesday in New York City.

They will discuss a physical altercation that occurred in February 2022, in which Kamara was involved.

However, in July, Kamara reached a plea agreement, resulting in the dismissal of the felony charge related to the fight that took place during the weekend of the Pro Bowl.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the meeting between Kamara and Goodell will likely address the potential suspension that the running back could face due to his involvement in the altercation.

The NFL community anticipates an announcement regarding the suspension within the next 24 hours.

Fans have taken to social media to speculate on the possible length of Kamara's suspension.

Some have referred to past suspensions, like Ezekiel Elliott's six-game suspension, as a point of comparison.

Others have offered their best guesses, with estimations ranging from 2 to 4 games as the likely duration of Kamara's suspension.

If Kamara indeed misses playing time for the Saints, Jamaal Williams and Kendre Miller are expected to step up as the top running backs on the team's depth chart.

In the previous season, Kamara had an impressive performance with 897 rushing yards, 490 receiving yards, and four total touchdowns.
