Former Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs had a fascinating comment about NFL practices recently.

Gibbs, who was selected with the No. 12 pick by the Detroit Lions,

said that the practices with them are easier than Alabama's under head coach Nick Saban.

“Saban, he’s probably hitting every day. Full pads in the heat for two hours. Here, we get good work in, but they don’t try to kill us. We good," Gibbs said.

Gibbs spent one season with Saban (2022) after spending two previous seasons at Georgia Tech.

During that season, he racked up 151 carries for 926 yards and seven touchdowns, all of which were career highs.

His time with the program made him a better running back and he's now taking those skills to the NFL.

He'll also get to be a bit more relaxed during practice, which is a luxury he couldn't afford when he was at Alabama.
