It's been seven years since the Dallas Cowboys selected Dak Prescott in the 2016 NFL Draft.
At the time, nobody thought much of it since Tony Romo was still with the team but that changed quickly when Prescott started all 16 games as a rookie.
He burst onto the scene and hasn't looked back since as he's now the only quarterback who has been with his team since 2016.
Aaron Rodgers held that honor but now that he's a member of the New York Jets, it's been passed to Prescott.
He's led the Cowboys to the playoffs multiple times in the seven seasons that he's been there
but has yet to get them past the NFC Divisional Round.
That, along with winning a Super Bowl, is at the top of Prescott's goals heading into the 2023 season.
This is a team that hasn't won a championship since 1995.
